David Lopez Golden Romics 2016

Romics, in collaboration with Panini Comics, is pleased to announce the presence of David Lopez official illustrator of new series  Wolverine at the XX edition of the Festival that will take place from September 29 to October 02, 2016.

 

Born in  Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1975, the spanish artist started his career when he was just 23 years old within the underground comics, immediately drawing the attention of the american majors. In 2001 he created togeter with writer Peter David the character of Fallen Angel illustrating all twenty episodes of the DC Comics series. 

 

From 2006 to 2008 his sinuous pencils drew the outlines of the adventure of Catwoman and definitively brought him to the attention of the The House of Ideas , where David moved for illustrating at first Hawkeye & Mockingbird  then a Mystic miniseries written by da G. Willow Wilson  candidated both for Eisner and Harvey Awards.

 

Between 2014 and 2015 he collaborated with Kelly Sue de Connick to the revival of Capitan Marvel/Carol Denvers in the series Capitan Marvel and Capitan Marvel & The Carol Corps, this last mentioned series also combined to Secret Wars maxi event.

 

Today David Lopez is the official illustrator of  the "very new" Wolverine, on texts by Tom Taylor!
