Press Conference 20 September 2016

The Press conferenze of the XX edition of Romics, the International Festival of Animation, Comics, Games and Enterteinment has took place on 20 September 2016 at the Casa del Cinema of Rome. 

During the conference, the artistic director Sabrina Perucca has explained the rich program of the Festival, presenting the new partnerships and cooperations which  confirm the costant renovation of the cultural offering, that has been further expanded in the Cinema sector thanks to the collaboration with Max Giovagnoli as Head of Area Cinema, who has also announced a large panel of previews.

Engineer Pietro Piccinetti, Chief Executive Officer of Fiera Roma has instead pointed out how significant this event is in the context of internationalisation of creative industry  and how important is, as fair centre of Rome, the task of hosting such a vast event.

Guido Fabiani, as Councillor for Economic Policies of  Regione Lazio has praised Romics as an innovative event, capable of  encouraging and enhancing  young creatives and latest forms of  communication. The Direzione Generale per lo Studente, l'Integrazione e la Partecipazione del Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell'Università e della Ricerca, represented in this occasion by  Emiliano De Maio, has instead confirmed  the educational value of the event that  with workshop, meetings, contest, enables young people to learn through gaming enterteinment and art, involving school classes of all levels. In this sense the collaboration with the Centro per il Libro e La Lettura represents a  further step toward.
